Vipassana practitioners to take part in seminar, retreat

Vipassana (mindfulness) meditation practitioners Sayadaw U Lakkhana of Burma and Grahame White will be in town for various events this month.
The Hawaii Association of International Buddhists presents a free seminar with White at 7 p.m. April 25 at the Buddhist Study Center, 1436 University Ave. Information: 737-5169 or 263-8567.
A nine-day retreat for 20 people beginning April 27 and May 5 will be held at the Palolo Zen Center; $350-$500 (aid available). Information: 737-5169.
