For The Honolulu Advertiser's Kids Day 2007, a special newspaper insert themed "What Can I Do To Help?" will again be a benefit for Parents and Children Together and sold by a retinue of community leaders, celebrities and volunteers on May 2.

The special $1 edition will feature essays, poems and drawings rendered by students in grades 1 through 12 who entered an islandwide contest, to showcase the thoughts and sentiments of O'ahu students, in both private and public schools.

Media celebrities and community leaders will be selling newspapers throughout the island to benefit PACT's programs for early childhood education and childcare, child abuse and domestic violence prevention and treatment, teen development, children's mental health, community building and economic development.

Leading the effort are Gov. Linda Lingle, Lt. Gov. James "Duke" Aiona and Mayor Mufi Hannemann.
