Funding boosted for health insurance advisory program

A grant that helps provide funding for a Hawai'i health insurance advisory program has been increased by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.The agency said it's increased funding for Hawai'i's Sage PLUS program to $197,620 this year from $189,427 last year.
The Sage PLUS provides health insurance information counseling and referrals to people 60 years or older, their families and caregivers.
