UH-Hilo No. 15, HPU No. 22 in national softball poll

The University of Hawai'i-Hilo softball team dropped one spot to No. 15 in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II Top 25, released on Wednesday.The Vulcans are 32-7. Lock Haven (26-1) is No. 1. Hawai'i Pacific (23-8) rose one spot to No. 22.
The Vulcans also are ranked No. 3 and the Sea Warriors (23-8) No. 5 in the West Region. Humboldt State (38-5) is No. 1, followed by Cal State Stanislaus (36-6).
The top eight in the regional poll earn spots in the West Region tournament in May.
