Hospice seeks volunteers

Hospice Hawai'i is looking for volunteers to serve as companions to patients.Volunteers are also needed for clerical duties, to help family members with bereavement or for special fundraising events. To sign up, contact volunteer coordinator Caroline Odo at 924-9255.
Applicants go through an interview process to determine where they could best be of help.
Volunteers wishing to be companions to patients are asked to go through a free, 20-hour training class.
