Foodbank fund-raiser tomorrow at Aloha Tower

By Catherine E. Toth
Advertiser Urban Honolulu Writer

Support the Hawaii Foodbank at a fundraising event tomorrow at Aloha Tower Marketplace.

The Miller Lite's Bash Out Hunger runs from 6 to 10 p.m. and features comedian Andy Bumatai, retro-rock cover band The King Pins and blues band Eight O Eight.

Cost is $25.

All proceeds from the event will support the Hawaii Foodbank and its efforts to feed more than 130,000 of Hawai'i's hungry every year.

Last year the Hawaii Foodbank distributed 8.2 million pounds of food. In addition, 1.6 million pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables were distributed through its Ohana Produce Program.

To purchase tickets call 550-8457 or visit www.honoluluboxoffice.com. To learn more about the Hawaii Foodbank, visit www.hawaiifoodbank.org.
