Kane'ohe-bound H-3 lanes to be closed tonight

The state Department of Transportation is reminding O'ahu motorists that the H-3 Freeway will be closed in the Kane'ohe-bound direction from the Halawa Interchange to the Halekou Interchange from 7 p.m. tonight until 7 a.m. tomorrow morning to allow for tunnel cleaning and maintenance work.Closure information was displayed on highway message signs throughout the week.
Kane'ohe-bound motorists are advised to use alternate routes such as the Likelike Highway and the Pali Highway, and to allow for extra travel time.
