Waimanalo Library to hold book sale, canned food drive

The Friends of Waimanalo Library will conduct a Book Sale on Saturday and Apr. 23 at the Waimanalo Public & School Library.
This book sale, which will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. April 23, will be held in the library's meeting room.
Most paperback books will cost 50 cents, while most hardcover books will be priced at just $1.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Waimanalo Public & School Library and its programs.
In addition, on Apr. 21 the Friends of Waimanalo Library will be collecting canned food items for the Hawaii Foodbank. People who bring in donations will receive a credit for one free used paperback item.
