The Bulldogs won the opener, 6-5.

Zimny scored when Landon Hernandez grounded out to short.

Hawai'i took the lead in the fifth on Brandon Haislet's two-run home run to make it 3-1.

Fresno State pulled to within one in the seventh. Lewis doubled, took third on a sacrifice and scored when Tommy Mendonca grounded out to second.
