SHAKESPEARE IN CENTRAL PARK

Outdoor theater is one of the great treats of summer. In Manhattan, The Public Theater has cast those star-crossed lovers for its summer production of "Romeo and Juliet," June 5-July 8 at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. Lauren Ambrose, best known as Claire Fisher on HBO's "Six Feet Under," will portray Juliet. Oscar Isaac, last seen at the Delacorte in the pop musical version of "Two Gentlemen of Verona," will be Romeo.

Camryn Manheim, a regular on the TV series "The Practice," plays the Nurse. The director is Michael Greif.

The Public's second Central Park production this summer will be "A Midsummer Night's Dream," directed by Daniel Sullivan. That production runs Aug. 6-Sept. 9. Tickets are free. Information: www.publictheater.org.
