Dixie State sweeps BYUH in softball doubleheader

Britni Maglish drove in three runs and Jessie Dunn fired a four-hitter as Dixie State (Utah) beat Brigham Young-Hawai'i, 11-1, today to complete a non-conference women's softball doubleheader sweep at La'ie.Rachelle Wade doubled in BYUH's lone run in the bottom of the third inning of the five-inning game.
In the first game, Carli Jones and Brittany Edlefsen had three RBIs apiece and Dixie State rallied from 6-4 deficit to win, 11-6.
The Rebels (34-9) scored six runs in the sixth and added another run in the seventh. Holly Bjork drove in three runs for the Seasiders (17-26).
