Trade winds bring choppy surf conditions
Advertiser Staff
Those big winter waves along the North Shore are quickly becoming a thing of the past, it seems.Today's National Weather Service forecast calls for surf 1 to 3 feet along northern shores, but 3 to 5 feet by this evening.
The good news is surve along eastern shores will be 5 o 7 feet. The bad news is the trade winds have created choppy conditions for surfing.
Elsewhere, surf along west shores will increase to 2 to 4 feet today, and the same can be said for surf in Waikiki and southern shores.
