Waimea man, 22, dies in head-on crash on Kaua'i

WAIMEA, Kaua'i — A 22-year old Waimea man died yesterday in a head-on collision on Kaumuali'i Highway.Police said John Rapozo was killed when his Honda sedan was hit by a BMW sedan that crossed the center line of the highway at about 4:45 a.m. near mile marker 5.
The other driver, Bryston Louis, 20, of Koloa, was treated at Wilcox Hospital and released.
Police said alcohol, drugs or speed do not appear to be factors in the crash.
The fatal accident marks Kaua'i's third traffic-related death of the year.
