Advertiser Staff

Aspiring nature photographers will have a chance to learn basic technique to capture flowers in a photograph using Waimea Valley as a backdrop, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 28 at the Waimea Valley Audubon Center.

Edward Yee, president of the Eyes of Hawai'i Photography Club, will lead the workshop covering light control and composition with technical assistance by club members, who will offer in-the-field critiques.

Bring a camera and an old CD to use as a light reflector; a tripod is recommended.

The cost is $8 plus admission. Call 638-9199 or fax 638-9197 to register.
