East-bound H-1 traffic slowing at Middle Street merge

East-bound traffic on the H-1 Freeway is congested and moving slowly from the Middle Street merge well past the downtown and Kinau Street exits.Traffic from Hawai'i Kai headed toward downtown is moving smoothly until slowing and backing up near Old Wai'alae Road overpass.
No problems have been reported on the drive into town from Windward O'ahu.
