New president and CEO of PBS Hawaii, Leslie Wilcox, was on The Hot Seat today for a live blog chat.

Wilcox, a former television reporter and anchor at KHON-TV where she worked for many years, took questions regarding her priorities and her vision for PBS Hawaii.

In her new role, Wilcox said she'll be looking for new opportunities for creative programs, community service and civic engagement. PBS Hawaii broadcasts seven days a week, with more than 200,000 households tuning in weekly.

You can catch excerpts from today's session in Sunday's Focus section.
