Lane closures on Kapiolani Boulevard

News Release

Two lanes on Kapiolani Boulevard, between Pensacola and Kamakee Streets will be closed 24-hours a day, the Department of Transportation said in a news release. Sewer bypass lines and pump equipment will be located in the far left lanes in both directions.

Expect delays due to temporary lane closures on Kapiolani Boulevard between Ward Avenue and Kamakee Street. In addition, during night hours, expect temporary lane closures along Ward Avenue at its intersection with Kapiolani Boulevard and along Kamakee Street at its intersection with Kapiolani Boulevard. Through traffic will be allowed in both directions.

Expect delays due to temporary lane closures along Kapiolani Boulevard between Pensacola and Kona Iki streets.

In addition, during the night, expect temporary lane closures along both Pensacola Street and Piikoi Street at their intersections with Kapiolani Boulevard. Through traffic will be allowed in both directions.

Sheridan Street at Kapiolani Boulevard will be closed while work is being performed during the night. Motorists will not be allowed to turn into Sheridan Street from Kapiolani Boulevard, nor, will vehicles be allowed to exit Sheridan Street onto Kapiolani Boulevard. Motorists are urged to use Piikoi Street and Makaloa Street
