Seminar Thursday on new tax laws

Kahala Nui, a retirement community in Kahala, is hosting an informational seminar on the new tax laws and wealth management issues Thursday in the Ali'i Dining Room.

The event, which runs from 9:30 a.m. to noon, is free and open to the public.

The seminar will feature financial professional from Bank of Hawai'i. Topics will include new estate tax laws that took effect Jan. 1, which provide opportunities for estate, investment and financial planning.

Reservations are required as seating is limited.

Refreshments will be served.
