    Featuring Anansi the Spider, Coyote and The Stonecutter, "McDERMOTT IN MOTION: BRINGING TO LIFE THE PICTURE BOOK ART OF GERALD McDERMOTT"is a unique blend of literature, folklore, cultural studies and the visual and performing arts in an exciting multidisciplinary form. The program, which features choreographer/dancer Nyla Fujii-Babb and storyteller Yukie Shiroma, is part of National Library Week.

    The Academy Award-winning documentary "AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH" will be the launching point for a panel discussion of experts about how intelligent architectural design, including in our homes, schools and workplaces, can positively affect our Island environment.
