Entry fees rise for Honolulu Marathon

Online registration for this year's Honolulu Marathon is now available via the Honolulu Marathon Web site (www.honolulumarathon.org).Fees for the race, scheduled for Dec. 9, have increased significantly.
The entry fee for local runners is $80, up from $60 last year, through Oct. 26. Cost for nonresidents has increased from $95 to $125 for the same period.
During the first late registration period, Oct. 27 to Nov. 9, the local entry fee increases to $95 ($10 less than last year) for residents and $140 for nonresidents ($105 last year). Fees increase to $175 for both groups, up from $125 last year, from Nov. 10 to Dec. 8.
