Watts Constructors awarded $42.7M for Guam contract

Honolulu-based Watts Constructors LLC was awarded $42.7 million under an existing contract for phase two of a project to replace typhoon damaged Navy housing on Guam.The work to be performed includes the demolition, removal and disposal of 108 typhoon damaged homes and construction of 103 new three-bedroom and five new four-bedroom family housing units; repair of concrete curbs and gutters and landscaping The current total contract amount after exercise of the option will be $78.6 million. Work will be performed in Guam and is expected to be completed by May 2009.
