Windward Community College's Paliku Theater is hosting two events today as part of Earth Day celebrations.

At 2:30 p.m., Stuart Scott will discuss "The Climate Crisis," a presentation that summarizes the science of global warming and considers individual and collective solutions.

At 4 p.m., Patricia Tummons, the editor of Environment Hawai'i, and three WCC instructors will hold a panel discussion on "Global Warming and Globalization."

Earth Day is being marked this year on Sunday.

The events are sponsored by the Windward Community College student government.
