Horizon LInes boosts fuel surcharge to 20.75 percent

Horizon Lines LLC said it will increase its fuel surcharge for shipments on its Hawai'i and Guam routes by 1.25 percentage points.The state's second largest shipping company said that starting May 6 its fuel surcharge will increase from 19.5 percent to 20.75 percent.
According to Horizon, fuel prices have been rising since mid-March and are not expected to decrease through mid-year.
