Scattered showers making for wet commutes

Scattered showers are making for some wet commutes this morning, and the rains are expected to be sporadic throughout the morning.The result: Allow yourself a few more minutes to get to work, school or your destination of choice today. As of 5:30 a.m. no major accidents or stalls had been reported, but traffic is already backed up at the H-1/H-2 merge and is slow through Eastbound through Pearl City and Aiea.
Traffic is also starting to slow coming into town from Hawai'i Kai.
