Mighty Mo offers discount for Military Appreciation Month

During May — Military Appreciation Month — the Battleship Missouri Memorial will offer a 50 percent discount to active-duty, reserve and retired U.S. military personnel.To qualify, men and women in the service must present a valid Department of Defense ID to purchase tours through MWR. In addition, military personnel dressed in uniform will receive complimentary admission year-round at the memorial's gate.
"We are honored most when visited by members of our Armed Forces," said retired Navy Capt. Don Hesse, president and CEO of the memorial.
The Mighty Mo is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, excluding Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. General admission is $16 adults, $8 children 4-12; military and kama'aina rates are $10 adults, $5 children.
