Rainbows drop to No. 16 in national softball poll

The University of Hawai'i softball team dropped one spot to No. 16 in the USA Today/National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top 25, released today.

The Rainbow Wahine (40-8) were idle last week and face No. 25 Fresno State (35-14) in the final homestand of the season on Friday and Saturday. It will be a matchup of the top two teams in the Western Athletic Conference. UH is 11-1, while Fresno State is 8-1.

Tennessee (47-2) is No. 1, followed by Alabama (42-4), Arizona (31-8), Oklahoma (43-5 and Texas A&M (34-6).
