Le Bizarre drag spectacle starts weekly show April 29

"Le Bizarre," the boys-will-be-girls drag show that played to sell-out houses in a February one-nighter, will return with a weekly Sunday show starting April 29 at the Hawaiian Hut cabaret at the Ala Moana Hotel.Directed and written by veteran empresario Jack Cione and featuring Brandy Lee, a drag queen who was the rage of the downtown and Waikiki circuits in the 1960s, the show mixes comedy, music and exotic glam. And Lee sings her numbers — no lip-synching for her.
Showtime is 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 through May. Reservations: 545-2820.
