TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"Notes From the Underbelly," 7:30 p.m., ABC. One benefit of pregnancy, Lauren has heard, is that it's a handy excuse for quitting work and hanging out at the beach. She gives that a try. Meanwhile, the situation has Andrew worried about money. He takes on extra work in his landscaping business, with little help from his low-key friend and assistant, Danny. The result is another moderately funny episode.

OF NOTE

"Thank God You're Here," 7 p.m., NBC. After showing up on two Mondays, this improvisational comedy series takes its regular spot. Four people take turns being plunged into sketches they know nothing about. George Takei, the "Star Trek" alumnus, is there, plus actress Shannon Elizabeth, comedian Chelsea Handler and TV personality Tom Green.

"According to Jim," 7 and 8 p.m., ABC. Jim has this thing about keeping secrets. In the first episode, his wedding ring is found; he never told his wife it was lost. In the second, he doesn't tell her that he no longer has health benefits.

"Jericho," 7 p.m., CBS. Earlier, the town set up a tenuous relationship with neighboring New Bern, sending its people there (almost as hostages) to work on the windmills. Now the Jericho people are returning — but Eric isn't with them. Jake and Hawkins investigate.

"Hustle," 7 p.m., AMC. Remember how situation comedies fall flat when visiting "special" locations? That happens here, when the scam artists head to Los Angeles to sell the Hollywood sign to a nasty millionaire (Robert Wagner). Nothing about this episode is believable. Also, too much of it centers on Danny (Marc Warren), a street-smart guy whose accent will confound Americans.

"Bones," 7 p.m., Fox. A basketball star has been crushed under a bleachers. Back in the lab, Hodgins tries to propose to Angela.

"American Idol," 8 p.m., Fox. Martina McBride, a great singer, performs. Then the field is trimmed to six.

"Criminal Minds," 8 p.m., CBS. This reruns the episode in which Gideon meets a serial killer in a diner, trying to learn where he's hidden a hostage.

"In Case of Emergency," 8:30 p.m., ABC. Sherman's life has been crumbling, but there's a surprise: His book is a success in Japan.

"Lost," 9 p.m., ABC. Desmond has another of his flashes into the future. Soon, he's talking Hurley, Charlie and Jin into a trip into the jungle. Back at camp, Jack is with Juliet, so Kate spends more time with Sawyer.
