Hot Spots progam visits Big Island today

The Hot Spots speeding awareness program is coming to the Big Island today to urge drivers to pay attention to pedestrians and encourage students not to jaywalk.The program is sponsored by AIG Hawaii and partners with the Hawaii Police Department. Today's event starts at 7 a.m. at Kealakehe Elementary School.
More than 50 students, teachers, parents, officers and AIG employees will line the street in front of the school, holding signs reminding drivers and students about traffic safety.
