Wyland Waikiki reopens after major renovation

Advertiser Staff

The Wyland Waikiki hotel reopened today after a multimillion-dollar renovation.

Located at 400 Royal Hawaiian Ave. and fronting Kuhio Avenue, the former Ohana Waikiki Surf property offers 405 rooms and suites in three buildings.

An investment group led by Lodging Capital Partners LLC, of Chicago recently awarded Outrigger Enterprises Group a contract to manage the boutique-style hotel, which will feature works from Wyland, the one-named artist who gained early fame for his whaling wall murals.

The hotel is offering Hawai'i residents a special package starting at $149 per room/night (plus tax) based on room category. Rates are based on double occupancy and include complimentary daily continental breakfast for two at the IHOP Waikiki located across the street from the hotel.
