UH will end spring football with 'Festival' on April 28

The University of Hawai'i football team will complete its spring practices with a "Football 'Ohana Festival," April 28 at Aloha Stadium, the athletics department announced today.

The event and parking are free. It will run from 5 to 8:30 p.m.

From 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., select members of the UH football team will be available on the concourse for autographs and photos.

A 90-minute practice, including 7-on-7 drills, will be held starting at 7 p.m. The Warriors will perform the haka at the end of practice.

The festival will include contests and activities, including jump castles from Xtreme Fun Rentals. Prizes will be awarded, including tickets to the baseball team's final home series against Fresno State, May 19 to 21.

Concession and merchandise stands will be open.

Fans should enter the parking lot through the main entrance on Salt Lake Boulevard and the stadium through Gate 4. The parking lot will open at 4 p.m.

The players who are scheduled to be available for autographs and photos are Colt Brennan, Tyler Graunke, Davone Bess, Ryan Grice-Mullins, Jason Rivers, Hercules Satele, John Estes, Adam Leonard, Solomon Elimimian, Michael Lafaele, Jacob Patek, Blaze Soares, Ryan Keomaka, Keala Watson and Brad Kalilimoku.
