Police helicopter used in Makaha arrest

A man was arrested in Makaha this morning following a search involving the Police Department's helicopter.Police said officers received a tip that the man, who has no local address, was in the Lahilahi Point area and went there in hopes of serving him with a warrant.
The man took off as officers approached and the helicopter was called in to assist in the search for him.
The man was eventually spotted and apprehended about 10:15 a.m.
