Radford rolls past Nanakuli in OIA

Ta Nitra Byrd scored 12 points and Ann Villanueva added 10, powering the host Radford Rams to a 49-20 victory over the Nanakuli Golden Hawks last night in an O'ahu Interscholastic Association Red Conference Western Division girls basketball game.

Radford led 13-3 after one quarter and 26-7 at halftime to improve to 8-1. Nanakuli fell to 2-7.

Chloe Martin hit three 3-pointers en route to 14 points, Allison Neussl added 12 points and the host Falcons (8-1) opened a 21-9 first-quarter lead in beating Na Menehune (2-7) in an OIA Red East game.

Jamie Ronolo scored 16 points for Moanalua, which trailed 31-24 before Kalani used a 13-4 third quarter to pull away.
