Full reopening of Kamehameha Highway set for Monday

The state is set to reopen Kamehameha Highway in both directions at Waimea Bay, but before it can do that crews must remove concrete barriers that will require complete closure of the road from 10 p.m. Sunday to 4 a.m. Monday.The road will be open in both directions at 4 a.m. Monday, the state Department of Transportation said in a press release.
For now a contraflow will remain in effect until Sunday night.
