McLachlin shoots 72, misses cut in Zurich Classic

Honolulu native Parker McLachlin shot an even-par 72 today but missed the cut in the Zurich Classic of New Orleans at the TPC Louisiana in Avondale, La.

Mark Calcavecchia shot a 69 to take a 1-stroke lead at 9-under 135. Lucas Glover (69) and Nick Watney (67) are tied for second. Charley Hoffaman (69) and first-round leader Kyle Reifers (73) are at 137.

McLachlin's four birdies today were offset by two bogeys and a double-bogey. He finished at 3-over 147. The cut was 143.
