UH celebrating Earth Day today

Advertiser Staff

An Earth Day Fair today at the University of Hawai'i-Manoa will feature "green" products, informational activities and live music. The fair, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., will transform the Sustainability Courtyard into an eco-marketplace with food, live music featuring Paula Fuga and Makana, multicultural dance and handmade crafts.

There will be a free showing of "Who Killed the Electric Car?" at 1:30 p.m. in Kuykendall Auditorium.

The celebration will close with a free concert from 7 to 11 p.m. on the front lawn of Hawai'i Hall, with entertainment by Organic, DJ H.O.P., The Genie and the InLight Fire Performance Troupe. Food, soft drinks, beer and wine will be available for purchase.
