Road to Freedom tour at YWCA today

The Road to Freedom, a year-long cross country journey covering all 50 states, will be featured at the YWCA in downtown Honolulu today from noon to 2 p.m.

It is a photographic exhibit of disability rights history and is sponsored here by the Hawaii Centers for Independent Living. The national awareness campaign's goal is to engage audiences across the United States in the story of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the history of the disability rights movement. The mission of the tour is to mobilize Americans to keep the promise of the ADA i freedom, inclusion, and opportunity for children and adults with physical, mental, cognitive and developmental disabilities.
