ResortQuest to get new owner

Miami-based Interval Acquisition Corp. has agreed to buy the parent company of ResortQuest Hawaii LLC, which operates 29 hotels across the state.
ResortQuest Hawaii, a unit of RQI Holdings Ltd., runs 10 hotels on O'ahu, nine on Maui, seven on Kaua'i and three on the Big Island. RQI Holdings is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nashville-based Gaylord Entertainment Co.
WYLAND WAIKIKI HOTEL REOPENS
The Wyland Waikiki hotel reopened yesterday after a multimillion-dollar renovation.
The former Ohana Waikiki Surf property — at 400 Royal Hawaiian Ave., fronting Kuhio Avenue — offers 405 rooms and suites in three buildings.
An investment group led by Lodging Capital Partners, LLC, of Chicago recently contracted Outrigger Enterprises Group to manage the boutique-style hotel, which will feature art works by Wyland, known for his whale murals.
The hotel is offering Hawai'i residents a special package starting at $149 per room a night (plus tax), based on double occupancy.
INTERISLAND FARE OF $19 AVAILABLE
Interisland carrier go! said it will offer $19 one-way fares on select flights and dates through Dec. 31.
Go!, a unit of Phoenix-based Mesa Air Group, said the special fare must be purchased through the Internet. The airline did not say how many $19 tickets will be available.
Aloha Airlines and Hawaiian have matched the $19 fare.
