'Aiea's Lajola falls in Easter Bowl tennis semifinals

Fifth-seeded Rhyne Williams of Knoxville, Tenn., defeated fourth-seeded Dennis Lajola of 'Aiea, 6-3, 6-7, 7-6, today in the boys 18 semifinals of the USTA Easter Bowl at Rancho Mirage, Calif.Williams will face third-seeded Johnny Hamui of Wesley Chapel, Fla., in tomorrow's finals. Hamui defeated No. 13 Bradley Klahn of Poway, Calif., 6-3, 6-4.
Lajola, who will play for the University of Hawai'i next year, lost in the final last year.
