Hayashi takes one-shot lead at Mid-Pacific Open

Kevin Hayashi shot a 5-under-par 67 today for a one-stroke lead heading into tomorrow's final round of the Mid-Pacific Open at Mid-Pacific Country Club.Hayashi, the five-time Aloha Section PGA Player of the Year, is at 2-under 214.
Kapalua pro Darren Summers is alone in second after a 72. Defending champion David Ishii and Kevin Carll are tied for third, two shots back, after shooting 71s. Arizona pro Chad Saladin (74) is fifth, three back.
