No. 7 Punahou girls beat Mid-Pacific

Interscholastic League of Honolulu

Punahou 57, Mid-Pacific 37

Tressa Torres scored 24 of her game-high 26 points in the first half and the host and seventh-ranked Buffanblu (6-3) beat the Owls (2-7) in an ILH Division I game.

Johnnelle Kapua scored 14 points for the Owls.

La Pietra 55, St. Francis 39

Leah Kaina scored 16 points and Megan Giles added 13 to lead the host Lady Panthers (6-3) past the Troubadours (6-4) in an ILH Division II game.

Janelle Nance had eight points for St. Francis.

University High 26, Word of Life 22

Brittany Copp scored nine points and the Junior Rainbows (3-6) beat the Firebrands (1-9) in an ILH Division II game at Sacred Hearts.

University led 18-7 at halftime.

Jasmine Saquilon scored eight points for Word of Life.

O'ahu Interscholastic Association

Kalaheo 53, Moanalua 42

Shanadee Canon scored 21 points and Anu Ah Yun added 13 and the visiting Mustangs (4-5) defeated Na Menehune (2-8) in an OIA Red East game.

Jamie Ronolo scored 22 points for Moanalua.

Leilehua 42, Nanakuli 34

Ashley Gonzales scored 18 points and Brittaney Stafford added 11 as the visiting Mules (3-7) defeated the Golden Hawks (2-8) in an OIA Red West game.

Sasha Montez had 13 points for Nanakuli.

Campbell 54, Wai'anae 30

Vai Confer scored 15 points and the visiting Sabers (10-1) routed the Seariders (5-4) in an OIA White West game.

Ngaire Yuen scored 10 points for Wai'anae.
