Hokule'a spots Okinawa

The crew of Hokule'a spotted Okinawa at about 4 p.m. today Hawai'i time, which is Monday Okinawa time.Navigator Nainoa Thompson paid tribute to the
other 10 crewmembers for their efforts in
voyaging to the southern island of Japan, a spokeswoman said.
Hokule'a is sailing for the port of Itoman on the
southwest side of Okinawa.
