Surf on the way down today, should be back up tomorrow

Advertiser Staff

Surf today along north-facing shores will diminish to heights of 8 to 12 feet today.

Surf along west-facing shores will diminish to heights of 5 to 9 feet while surf along east-facing shores is also on the way down and is expected to hit heights of 3 to 5 feet.

Surf along south-facing shores should hold steady at 4 to 6 feet through today, according to the National Weather Service.

The current northwest swell will be reinforced by a larger northwest swell rolling in Monday. The swell peaking Monday through Monday evening will likely push surf heights on the north- and west-facing shores above the advisory levels. The moderate south swell will continue into Monday.
