Straub security guard cut in scuffle

A 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cutting a security guard in a confrontation today at Straub Clinic & Hospital.The security guard, 24, had physically restrained the man to prevent him from re-entering the hospital at 1:10 p.m. when the man took out a knife. The guard suffered a minor cut of the thumb while disarming the man.
The suspect was questioned and later released pending further investigation for assault.
