Nimitz traffic signals going down for upgrade

Traffic signals at the intersection of Nimitz Highway and Sand Island Access Road will be deactivated tonight for improvement work, the state Department of Transportation announced.Police officers will direct traffic while the lights are being upgraded, beginning at 9:30 tonight and ending at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday.
