Woman killed in crosswalk Sunday identified

The Honolulu Medical Examiner's office today identified the pedestrian who died yesterday as Jae Hyeong Sim, 74.Sim died at The Queen's Medical Center at 9:51 p.m. after she was struck by a 2001 Honda Accord turning left from Kuakini Street on to 'Alaneo Street at 5:46 p.m. yesterday.
Sim was in a crosswalk but police are trying to determine whether she was crossing with or against the pedestrian crossing light.
The motorist, a 77-year-old woman, was not injured.
