Trade winds are keeping the surf up and rains passing through primarily windward and mauka areas.The National Weather Service said trade winds 20 to 30 mph will be blowing across Hawaiian waters, forcing a wind advisory for the Haleakala Summit area of Maui and the for leeward Kohala on the Big Island. Breezy conditions are expected through Wednesday.
