Winter weather warning for Big Island summits

Christmas in April? In Hawai'i?Folks visiting the Big Island summits may feel that way. The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather warning for Big Island summits until 8 a.m. this morning.
The forecast for summits above 8,000 feet calls for below freezing temperatures likely resulting in freezing drizzle that should melt within two hours after sunrise.
Travelers in the area should be advised of slippery road conditions and limited visibility.
