Wind advisory for Big Island, Maui summits

A high wind advisory is in effect for the summits of Maui and Big Island until 6 p.m. today, the National Weather Service said.A wind advisory means winds of 30 mph with frequent gusts above 50 mph are expected.
High profile vehicles should proceed in the area with caution.
