'Iolani baseball wins, Kamehameha-Punahou suspended

'Iolani 6, Mid-Pacific 1

J.R. Bunda and Sheldon Lee combined on a five-hitter to help the third-ranked Raiders defeat the fourth-ranked Owls today at Ala Wai Park in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu baseball tournament game.

Rylan Morihara and Brennan Nacario each hit a triple for 'Iolani (11-3). The Raiders will face the winner of the Punahou-Kamehameha game tomorrow at Mid-Pacific.

Mid-Pacific (9-5) plays Damien (5-8) in an elimination game tomorrow at 'Iolani.

Kamehameha 6, Punahou 6, suspended

The game was suspended because of darkness in the top of the ninth inning today at 'Iolani.

The game will resume in the top of the ninth tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. at Ala Wai Park. The winner will face 'Iolani at Mid-Pacific. The loser will face Saint Louis at Ala Wai Park.

Saint Louis 7, Pac-Five 2

Grant Costa struck out 10 and walked three in a complete game to lead the Crusaders (3-11) past the Wolf Pack (0-14) today at Mid-Pacific in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu baseball tournament consolation game.

The loss ended Pac-Five's season.
